WATYA: COOK, EAT, MAKE FRIENDS

WHAT IS WATYA?

Watya brings people together in one table with just a click.

Steve is cooking and has an extra place at his table to share.  John doesn’t want to eat alone.  We connect both and by doing this you are also helping a local charity that feeds the ones in need.

WHAT DOES "WATYA" MEANS?

Watya (Huatia or Guatia in Spanish) is a Quechua word for an Andean dish traceable to the Pre-Colombine Peru.

Watya is a traditional Peruvian earthen oven which dates back to the days of the Inca Empire. A banquet prepared with this sort of oven is known as a Pachamanca. This type of oven is commonly associated with the peasants in the Cuzco region in the Andes.
